Hardly any head, which a strange for a German Weizenbier. Milky, slightly citric aroma and flavor. Just a bit yeasty flavor with banana. Decent weizen and a good thirst quencher.

500ml Bottle (Zum Franziskaner, Stockholm) - Hazy golden/light orange. Banana, cloves and lemon in the aroma. Banana, cloves, toffee and grain all feature in the fairly refreshing taste.

Bottle. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is bananas, spicy yeasts, cloves, banana skin. Taste is the same, with some extra minerals. Silky mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Solid Weizen!

Aroma has orange, some bubblegum and some banana. Rather fizzy palate. Flavour has orange, citrus, some bubblegum and some mild banana tones. A hefe strongly on the citrus side.

At Abseitz, Bamberg. Dark golden, hazy, medium head. Aroma is wheat. Taste is wheat, banana, caramel, solid weizen.

Milchig trübe goldene Farbe, schöne große Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr hefig malzig, fruchig, Gewürznelke. Geschmack fruchig malzig, etwas Banane, Gewürznelke, leicht phenolisch, brotig.

Bottle at the Stöhrenkeller, Bamberg 11/8/2014. Hazy gold with a big, white, head. Solid Hefeweizen, with the usual, banana, clove and bubble gum notes. Good.
