Oily black pour with a medium thin beige head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Small patches of lace. Aroma of charred malt, dark chocolate, coffee and anise. Full-bodied with flavors of roast malt, bittersweet chocolate, espresso and black licorice. The finish is roasty with a chocolate malt aftertaste. Good beer all around.
