Das ungespundete Lagerbier ist eine Spezialität die es nur in Bamberg und seinem Landkreis gibt. Mit einem Stammwürzegehalt von 12,7 % ist es ein sehr kernig schmeckendes Bier. Der Alkoholgehalt beträgt 5,3 %. Auf Grund der ungespundeten Lagerung ist es ein Kohlensäure armes süffiges Bier. Eine gekonnte Hopfengabe aus Aromahopfen machen es zur einem sehr beliebten Bier der Brauerei Wagner.

Van het vat bij Wagner, stop 2. Goudgele kleur, witte kraag. Droog, bloemig, licht granig, verbena, hint van honing, mineralen, fors bitter. Lichte body. Smakelijk.

Tasted fine at first but as I drank it, it got better and better. Definitely a tier above most other "lagerbier" around, gespundet oder ungespundet.

Bottle, 500 ml at Ambasada, Zagreb. Clear dark golden with medium white head. Malty, grainy, some grassy notes, dry finish. Sweetish with vague bitterness in finish. Light to medium bodied.

Bottle online from The Trembling Madness. Pours golden with a medium sized throthy white head. Aromas of sweet grains, hay, doughy white bread, pepper, honey and lemon. Taste has more of the same notes again. Malty but with a mild grassy hop that lingers on the finish. Nicely balanced. Full body, low carbonation and a very smooth oily and buttery mouthfeel. Very decent Beer. Enjoyed.

Bottled 500ml. -from Ambasada Zagreb. Darker golden coloured, medium sized white head, malty grainy nose. Sweetish malty, grainy, light herbal and slightly grassy with dryish finish.

Pours a clear golden colour and a dense white head with good lacing. Aroma's fruity and grainish, with light butter retronasal. Flavour is light bitter and malty, fruity. Light bodied. Flavour develops to a decent bitterness in the finish.

Tap at Ma Che Siete Venuti a Fa, Rome, Italy. Pours crisp brilliant gold, with fine white foam. Aroma is of cereal. Body and carbonation are average. Taste is medium sweet, showing also some dry bitterness in the final. Quite bitter for a keller.
