Half pint, hand pulled cask ale at The Palace, Leeds. White layer blanketing the glassware. Copper body colour with a slight haze. Modest earthy malts to the nose with notes of fruits. Mild malt-fruity flavour. Smooth bitterness to the ending. OK (12.07.2012).

Cask at The Cricketers, Shirley. It pours slightly hazy golden yellow, with a big fluffy white head. The nose is hay, farmyard, floral, leaf, yeast, dough and tangerine. The taste is hay, straw, honey, touch of caramel, floral, grapefruit and tangerine, with a dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Well balanced and easy drinking.

Cask at Cloisters 30 yr celebration ...Light copper ...small off white head ...soft sweet caramel fruit nose ...soft juicy fruit ..that regional yeasty edge ..soft sweet fruit ... i can kind of see the tea comment but nit sure id say that now

Sampled cask conditioned at Oliver Twist, Stockholm.
Hazy bronze. Vague citrus nose. Sweet. Letaher and plastic dominate. Clean, rounded malty mouthfeel. Chewy, but bold. Balanced bitter finish with some cane sugar.
