Botle at valhalla, frederikssund , as limited edition kaffestout. Could be a new beer entry, brewer said it was not the same recipe, but i lost my notes on what the differences were. clear very very dark amber, smooth offwhite head. strange aroma. coffee, faint sourness (or flowery note.. hops?), roasted grains. flavor is roaste dgrains, mild licorice, coffee, flavor is very mild and english like.

Growler 100 cl. Courtesy of Ungstrup. Dark brown with a warm orangey hue and a dense and creamy beige head. Aroma of burned malt and distinct coffee notes. Medium body with sweetish burned malt, vanilla and coffee. Lightly malt bitter finish. 070309

Draft. A pitch black beer with a thin lazing brown head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of coffee like a cappuchino with light notes of chocolate, but also a light acidic note. The flavor is has strong notes of coffee and chocolate - more like a cup of cappuchino than plain coffee, combined with light notes of roasted malt and coffe acidity - making it rather refreshing for a stout, but as the glass empties it gets to be a bit cloying.

From growler. Pours unclear brown with a small tan head. Mild roasted and coffee herbal aroma. Flavour is light caramelish and mild roasted initially. Holds a nice medium creamy textured yet medium body. Flavour is light coffee spiced and slight acidic to a the smooth and somewhat sweet malt base. Well integrated coffee and easy stout. Quite chocolate flavoured finish.
