Bottle. Pours a black color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty chocolate aroma. Roasted malty chocolate and caramel flavor. Has a roasted malty chocolate and caramel finish.

Bottle. Darkest brown, chestnut shine, cream cappuccino. Roast coffee and chocolate aroma, some licorice. Medium body, mellow mouthfeel. Milk chocolate, roast, licorice, a hint smoke, pralines.

Dark brown with little head. Aroma is hints of fish, moss, roasted berries, roasted cocoa, green leaves. Taste is fish with lots of smoky wood. Some dark coffee and espresso notes as well. Smoke and cocktail cherries in the finish. Quite harsh but still drinkable. Interesting. not bad.

Bottle. Brown color with tan head. Aroma is halitosis, roasted malt, coffee, chocolate; the halitosis is gone after a few sips. Taste is chocolate, roasted, earthy, cocktail cherries, a bit chalky. Medium carbonation, a bit dusty mouthfeel. Quite pleasant, but not great.

At a tasting, thanks, smallish head, opaque black color, aroma of toasted bread, cake and nuts, flavor of nuts, chocolate and cocoa, some apples creeping in, light bodied. Nice and interesting.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks Stas & Max. Dark brown to black with a beige head. Roast, caramel, chocolate, a bit of licorice, some dark fruits, sweet, medium-bodied. Pretty nice.

Dark brown to black colored, unclear, medium tan creamy head. Aroma is of malt, bit brown sugary, toasty with some chocolate. Taste is medium sweet malt, some brown sugar, more chocolate, some roasted malt, light+ chocolate bitterness, dry roasty finish. Medium bodied, soft carbonation.

08-11-16 // bottle. Pours a black beer. Head disappears quickly. Roasty malts in the nose. Taste is roasty, some coffee and liquorice. Light smokey, ashy. Light bitter notes in the end.
