Bottle at Harrild & Sons, London. Pours mid to dark brown with a small off-white to beige head. Aroma is dominated by the most authentic coconut aroma I've had from a beer, with some light toasting, chocolate and nut in the background. Moderate sweetness and bitterness, with a hint of coconut milk sour. Towards medium body, slight oily and rather watery texture, average carbonation. If coconut beers had there own category this would be a candidate for top spot!

Bottle. Pours misty chestnut brown with small off-white head. Aroma: coconut, caramel, hops. Light to medium body. Malty taste with well-detectable coconut adjunct. Light plus ending bitterness. Decent. Unfortunately I am not a fan of coconut.

Brown with little head. Aroma is toasted coconut, lebkuchen, nuts, a bit cocoa and/or chocolate as well. Bounty sums it up. Taste is slightly sweet nutty with lots of cacao nibs. Nutty finish. Nice.

(bottle, 35.5cl) Clear, ruby brown colour with a beige and short foamy head. Slightly toasted and delicately buttery malty aroma with notes of coconut, honey and a whiff of alcohol. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Delicately toast-malty taste with notes of coconut oil, butter with a subtle spicy hoppy touch; moderately sweet and delicately bitter finish with lasting notes of coconut in the aftertaste. Uncommon but pleasant. 06.VI.17

Bottle from Beer Zoo. Clear brown body with a thin off-white head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of earth and nuts. Flavour of brown sugar and tea. Thin body with a watery texture. Soft fizz. I didn’t get much coconut.

Bottle from JSG Wine Merchants, Chesterton, Cambridge. Mid- to dark brown, quite translucent with a thin film of off-white head. Light aroma of chocolate and coconut. Pleasant but fails to stamp out any special character. The taste is more promising with sweet cononut, some Nutella, and drinking chocolate with some bitter hop in the finish. Nicely carbonated, thin to medium body. I really took to this although it took a few sips.
