Bottle. Clear amber color with off-white head. Aroma is caramel, toffee, raisins. Taste is toffee, caramel, raisins, orange juice, a touch hops as well. Nice drinkability, but not what you expect from a Barleywine.

330ml Bottle (10.5%) - Dark brown in colour. Pine, brown sugar and raisins in the aroma. Rich, warming and fruity taste with pine, caramel, fudge, raisins and citrus.

At Abseitz, Bamberg. Dark red brown beer, small head. Aroma is red fruit, wood. Taste is the same, warmt of alcohol. very nice.

33cl bottle. Pours slightly hazy orange brown colour with a mid sized good lasting beige head. Aroma of strong toasted malt, caramel, riped fruits. Taste of strong malt, riped fruits, caramel, some wood, warm alcoholic finish.

Many thanks for this beer to Beerhunter111. Very murky amber colour. Resin and malts on the nose, A bit of sweetness on the palate, with some raisins.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy pale amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty spicy caramel hoppy aroma. Sweetish malty spicy caramel flavor. Has a sweetish malty spicy caramel weak hoppy finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fiulijn. Clear orangey brown with no head. Intensely nutty aroma, caramel and cocoa powder. Full-bodied, flat, very oxidized, again nuts and toffee with a light acidity. A very rustic British style Barley Wine. 200412

50 cl bottle, 1 1/2 year old. Pours clear and golden deep amber with a smalæ tan head. Aroma is fruity and dense malty. Dense malty, light sour and alcohol dense. Citric and dense malty finish.
