Light amber. Hazy body and thin head. Wheaty, slightly toasty, slightly fruity nose. Fairly bland, sweetish and fizzy, as expected from Erdinger.

Bottle labeled Oktoberfest Weizen. Pours orange/amber with off white head. Aromas of wheat and citrus. Wheat flavor with a touch of lemon. There are also some flavors of yeast and spices. Slight hop bitterness. Medium body with average carbonation.

Amber-orange color with a tall, fine head. Cloudy. Very fruity aroma with citrus, spice, but not the typical banana and clove weizen nose. Some hops too. Flavor leans towards the barley side. Very fruity, citrus without being sour, a touch of wheat malt, but it is not the main factor here. It is very rich, somewhat spicy, a bit sweet but balanced by citrus and hops. A touch of banana. Excellent beer. Citrus, hop finish, rich and mellow.

The bottle looks really good, the beer in the glass also. Nice head. The beer starts mild with woody notes. This continues till the end - too less fruity and not very yeasty. I exspected it stronger. Im disapointed

(Draught at Man in the Moon, Stockholm, 24 Sep 2008) Cloudy brownish yellow colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of ripe banana, chocolate and clove. Malty taste with ripe fruit, banana, plums, chocolate, smooth fruit flavours and moderate, spicy hints of clove. Some sweetness. Doesn’t really stand out, but definitely drinkable.

12 oz. bottle from Wine Warehouse. Hazy peach color with a big head. Fruity yeast aroma with notes of pineapple, peach and caramel. Taste is kind of disappointing. Caramel, citrus, yeast, spice. But, thin taste and slightly watery.

50 cL bottle as Oktoberfest Weissbier. Pours hazy golden orange with a huge and creamy off-white head. Aroma is of wheat and somewhat malty. Creamy texture. Flavour is wheaty with a decent caramel malt base. Dry wheaty notes but not really with esters as such as the caramel/biscuit malt seems to take that out. Medium dry finish.
