Bottle says octoberfest. Sizzly CO2, very enjoyable on the palate. Does not really come across like an octoberfest of course. Yes, much more like a good witbier or a clean hefe. Fresh clean aroma and taste. An overall very good beer drinking experience. Much better than most octoberfests but its really not a fest is it? Not much bitter personality can be found. Nice, impressive beer that comes across much better behaved than the 6% would indicate.

On tap at Melkebaren, Sandnes. Hazy deep golden colour, moderate white head. Moderate aroma of cloves and other spices, hints of banana. The flavour is moderately spicy with just a hint of banana, moderate but noticeable hops. Has more going on than the "ordinary" Erdinger Hefe-Weissbier.

Refrigerated bottle poured into a glass. The label has been changed from what is seen here to a more festive picture of two germans dancing. This is a truely interesting combination of tastes. I like hefeweizens a lot and like octoberfest pretty well, but this is really good. Pours a cloudy dark golden with nice dense thick white head. Some fluffy lacing, medium body, highly carbonated, and light honey aroma. The taste is clove, banana, some honey, and caramel. I enjoy this every year.

A hazy golden weizen with a thick white head. In aroma, light bananas, cloves, and lemon. In mouth, a nice light banana, creamy, a bit of an oily mouthfeel, lighter bodied. 500 mLbottle from Carrefour, Bogota, 7600 COP (or about 4$). Tasted Nov. 14 2009.

Draught at Tolkin’s House, Zagreb. Hazy lemony/golden coloured, small to medium white head, acidic nose maybe a bit stale. Fruity, slight wheaty and mild acidic with notes of honey and orange. Unfortunately nothing special here.

Delightful aroma of apples, banana, and clove, in that order. Cloudy golden, with a thick peach colored sudsy head. Weak flavor of lemony wheat. Crisp apple finish. Decent beer but not really exceptional.

.33L bottle sold as OktoberFest Weizen from Country Club Liquors. Nose of caramel, light cloves, and bubblegum, very different for a hefe but interesting. Hazy yellow orange with a medium pale yellow head. Flavor is peppery, caramel malts, and some other light spiciness.

On tap at the Tolkien’s House in Zagreb with mj and his gf. Poured a dark apricot hazy body with a small white head. Tiny malty nose. Candied peach juice or peach yoghurt in the taste, sweetish and nothing else. Humm. And with this I got all of the Erdingers available. Yaaaay!
