50cl. Pours cloudy amber/orange with a decent head which falls away to a thin layer of lace. The nose has a tangy yoghurty thing going on with a bit of a vanilla spice note. The taste has a creamy banana with a background nut and nutmeg which grows towards the finish. The palate has a medium to large structure with a rich, creamy middle texture and a finish that is creamy but still fairly clean. Overall, this is interesting.

Sample at Ale Wine & Spirits in Powell on 09/23/2011. Oktoberfest Weissbier bottle. The beer is a hazy yellow color with a medium white head that evaporates quickly to an outer ring. Spots and strings of lacing. Aroma of wheat and citrus. Light body with flavors of sweet fruit, wheat and light grassy hops. The finish is wheaty and short. Fairly average overall.

0,5 l. bottle. Hazy, orange-yellow colour with a big, soft white head that lasts troughout. Rather rich aroma: Hay, some citrus and dough and bubblegum. Light sweetness with a medium body and soft carbonation. Finish with banana and spices. I like this beer! Lets go to Oktoberfest....

Draft at Standard in DC. Cloudy orange color, tine white head, decent lacing. Aroma of citrus, straw, white pepper. Taste is very bitter, more like a lager than a weizen.

Wenig intensiver herb-hefiger Antrunk, prickelnd. Kein gelungenes Bier! Danke an kappldav123 für das Bier. 9/5/5/5/9/5

Labeled as Erdiner Oktoberfest Weisse. Bottle. Pours with a relatively clear golden hued body with a large white head that stays. At first I thought it wasn’t bottle conditioned, I really could not get the yeast into suspension at all. Aromas are really restrained on esters and phenols. I get a bready and toasty maltiness, light vanilla and a touch of lemon zest before the traditional clove and banana esters (which are there, but muted). Flavors are equally restrained on the esters. Hardly any bitterness, some citrus, toasted malt and banana. Somewhat sweet. Pretty good mouthfeel. Smooth, full, creamy. A touch warming for a hefe. Easy to drink, but nothing special.

As Erdinger Oktoberfest Weissbier. Hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma is wheaty and yeasty. Flavor is medium sweet. Lacks the qualities normally associated with a German hefeweizen. 021010

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Dark yellow pour with a white head. Mango, pear and caramel aromas. Fresh flavours of citrus, peach and pears. Dry, fruity finish. Quite pleasant.

Bottle, as Octoberfest. Slightly cloudy light orange with a large white head. Mild aroma of wheat, vanilla, coriander seed, lemon. Taste has citrus and spice forward and a little bread. Spicy and dry finish. A little watery but very refreshing. Well-suited to the purpose.
