Clear amber with medium beige head. Aroma is lots of banana, mealy apple, slight wood and phenols. Taste is rubber and phenolic wood. Not good. Medium body and not easy to drink. Nah.

Bottle, 0.5l. Hazy yellow pour with medium-sized soapy white head. Poor retention, little to no lacing. Faint nose, herbal, yeasty, not much of wheat character. Medium body, softly carbonated. Thick and oily texture. Undefined taste, a bit sweet, a bit bitter, some sour notes. Quite empty aroma despite the good body and thickness. Malts, yeast, herbs, wheat. Caramel and slight coriander. Lacking in hefe character. Watery, bland... empty. Dry finish. Overall, not bad, but unimaginative and uninspiring. Boring brew.

0,5 l bottle. Pours golden yellow with consistent thick white head. Aroma is malty and fruity, with little typical hefe banana and clove. Very mild aromas in general. Taste is on the sweet side, some yeast, malt, some fruitiness, pears and it’s slightly sour. Body is light to medium, oily texture and medium carbonation. Light bitter and sour finish. Far from top class hefeweizen, but nicely drinkable.

Lett tåkete lys brun med fingerhøyt hvitt skum. Lukter hvete, banan og søtlige bær og epler. Lett.

Bottle at home. Pours a hazy yellow-orange colour and a creamy off-white head. Aroma of lemon, spices, wheat, grass and some yeast. A little light. Light is also the flavour with grass, banana, wheat and some citrus. Slightly sour. Has a slick and soft mouth feel, light to medium body and a light bitterness. A light hefeweizen and far from a proper one. Disappointing.

Keg @ Red Lion, Littleborough. Pale golden-amber with a carbonation and a frothy head. Very easy-drinking within its style, with slightly understated wheat notes and banana flavouring.
