Bottle. Hazy golden color with fluffy white head. Aroma is spicy yeasts. Taste is spicy yeasts, phenols, dough, wheat. Silky mouthfeel with soft carbonation. Alright, better than their regular Weißbier.

A Hefe-toberfest.:^)
Pours a nice straw gold that was very clear until I poured in the last ounce. Then it clouded up.

The smell was a faintly sweet aroma which I liked.

The taste was an interesting cross between the sweetness of the malt and the clove flavour that Hefe's bring to the table and I thought the balance was well done. This is a very drinkable beer to me and I'm kind of sad that I only bought the one bottle.(in a mixed 6-pack)

Bottle from the Needle & Pin, Loughborough. Yellow, cloudy with a large but quickly dissipating white head. Lemon, pepper and bready aroma.taste has a weighty bitterness to it, despite the intensity of the malt. Sweet, crisp finish. A multi-layered beer, one with which to close out Oktoberfest.

Bottle pour into shaker pint glass from Greg & Jane's Beer and Wine. Appearance is lightly hazy yellow with greenish tinge, nice sparkle and finger+ width fizzy white head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is wheat, light fruity esters, European earthy hops, hint of yeast. Taste is sweet wheat with light banana and fruity esters. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with thin texture, lively-to-fizzy carbonation and dry finish as taste. Overall, this is representative of the style but isn't particularly strong nor different. Over carbonated. OK.

Oddball festbier, combining the Bavarian blandness of a kristallweizen with slightly sweet marzen tones. Doesn't really work on either count, though, with a bready, almost yeasty tart front leaving little room for the caramel or toffee notes to take hold. Comes across almost hopless, with a seltzer-like back end and a mild, overcarbonated finish. Some toffee and apple on the nose, and the pour comes out a pretty hazed orange-gold, but overall not want you want for Oktoberfest.
