Tap. Pours quite clear, golden. Medium white head, decent lacing. Aroma is wheat, banana, lemon. Flavor is light plus sweet, light bitter. Medium light body.

500ml bottle at home. Pours a hazy yellow gold, large pillowy white head. Slight Hefeweizen aroma of banana and bubblegum but not very pronounced. Flavour is the same. This is for getting into ya, not a complex beer.

2022 re-rate. Bottle from Livonia Liquor as Oktoberfest. Pours aw hazy straw gold with a full 3 fingers of soapy head that lingers. Creamy banana, clove and inviting yeast aromas on the nose. More of the same on the palate with a creamy texture and nice carbonation on the finish. Some mineral notes and finishes up with light peppercorn and clove. Nice stuff.

50cl bottle as Erdinger Oktoberfest. Hazy golden with a huge white head. Aroma of sweet banana, vanilla, wheat, bubblegum. Taste is sweet, wheaty, banana, vanilla, bubblegum, gentle herbal notes, mild spice. Light-medium bodied, lively carbonation. Ok, possibly a little too sweet.

On tap @Roadhouse Tiburtina (Rome). Gialla torbida, schiuma bianca abbondante, mediamente persistente. Al naso note di esteri, banana, limone, fieno. In bocca è dolce con finale acidulo leggero e appena amaro. Corpo medio, carbonazione media. Sgraziata e stucchevole.

Had at Willow Tree cafe the German joint in Sanford, FL. Lighter pour. Nose is yeasty and light citrus. Tastes of yeast, orange zest, bubblegum, grass and wheat. Nice palate not bad.
