Bottle from Beers Of Europe. Clear golden body with thick white head. Lively carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of wood and earth. Flavour of dried leaves and grain. Medium body with a frothy mouthfeel. Light fizz. A simple, well balanced beer.

On tap at BierCraft Commercial, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out gentle sweetness and biscuity malt. Flavour reveals bready malt sweetness and a nice expression of the German yeast. Bready and gently sweet finish. Good stuff.

11.2 oz. (330 ml) bottle, 5.7% ABV, Best by: 04-2023

AROMA: Slightly sweet with wonderful scents of bubble gum, cloves, banana bread, malt, and orange peel.

APPEARANCE: It pours a hazy yellow-amber that looks quite inviting. The head is very tall, with a tightly-packed, white foam that (unfortunately) dissipates fairly quickly with no lacing. The head was glorious while it lasted, but that only amounted to about 10 seconds before it dwindled into complete nothingness.

TASTE: Moderately sweet with flavors of pear, orange peel, and banana bread, with hints of caramel and orange on the finish. Basically, it tastes almost exactly like it smells.

MOUTHFEEL: Medium-bodied with lively carbonation. Texture is a little less than smooth, which is probably due to the higher-than-average carbonation level. However, there is a "creamy" factor that helps to hide the carbonation level.

OVERALL: I really wasn't sure what to expect from this beer, but I'm pleasantly surprised. It certainly doesn't seem to have quite the "bite" of the typical Hefeweizen. Instead, it is a little more on the sweet-and-smooth side, and keeps a nice even keel on the flavor from start to finish. Although, I do have to say that as the beer warms to room temperature, I'm finding that the flavor becomes a little overly sweet. Keep the beer temp under 65 F and all should be good.

Keg at Six Degrees N. It hazy golden with a thick, foamy white head. The aroma is soft, sweetish, clover rock, spice, floury bread, green banana and hay. The taste is dry, light bitterness, green, banana, warming spice, clove rock, grass, floury bread, nougat and cereal with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. All comes together rather well. Quaffable.

500ml bottle into Bitburger glass. Lots of grain and pepper in the nose. Golden amber beer with some lazy bubbles meandering around. Towering white head of foam. Effervescent, malty and sweet. Finish is lingering sour grain with a hint of sherbet. Easy drinking, refreshing.

White frothy head stayed on a hazy golden body. Floral aroma with spices & faint hops. Medium bodied, sharp on the palate with a clean back. Fruity tasting with peach, citrus, lemon & confectionery & tangy wheat finish.
