Dragonhead is brimming over with rich roast malt and roast barley flavours. Aromas of bitter chocolate, roast coffee and spicy dark fruits are complemented by a complex, bitter blend of hop varieties.

Bottle at Taps Beer Bar, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a deep mahogany with a big frothy off-white head and lots of clinging lace. The aroma is dry with some malt and fruit. The flavour is medium bitter a little grapefruit sour and with lots of dry spice and pepperness on the palate and deep into the aftertaste.

Świetny stout. Z ekologicznymi składnikami. Piana mocna i brązowa. Ciecz jak guinness czarna jak smoła, piwo oleiste i gęste przy czym treściwe i syte. Wspaniały aromat ciemnej gożkiej czekolady i czarnej kawy. Finisz wytrawny i głógi. Wysublimowane. Polecam bo to godny Stout.

Fra flaske på Cardinaltreff nov-12: Kjennes ut som der er brukt en del røykmalt. Salt også i aromaen. Lakris og røyk i smaken, salmiakk og gamle gummistøvler. Veldig lite humle.

Rich treacle and tobacco nose, good strength. Black, thin tan head. Charcoal, dry tobacco flavor. Finishes with a sweeter lingering kiss of treacle. Really neat stout, wanting a little sweetness and body, but quite enjoyable.

500mL bottle, split several ways, pours a dark reddish brown / near-black with a medium tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, red fruits, char and stale notes. Flavour - uh-oh - stale coffee, rotting dark fruits and stale malts - very offensive really. I couldn't finish more than a few sips before chucking this out. Disgusting stuff.

Bottle at the Dunstane House Hotel. Pours opaque black with some head 3. Aromas of dark chocolate and charcoal. Taste of dark chocolate, hint of coffee with a slightly burnt but reasonably good finish. Palate is medium bodied and textured with a fairly clean finish. Overall, a good example of a stout.

Bottle from Julio’s. Aroma has of chocolate, roasted malts and old coffee left in a cup overnight. Taste is chocolate, roasted malt and stale grain. A touch of dark fruit, plums or dates. Oily mouthfeel yet has a short dry finish. Body is light and a bit weak. Well, overall not bad. If you can find on draft it would be very worthy for a “session”. With some many other stouts to choose from it would be difficult to revisit this. But still worth a try if you are a stout drinker.

Pours a black colour with a nice head. Aroma is burnt malts and coffee. Taste is solid, despite being 4% alcohol. Body is actually substantial enough to make this good drinking. A nice little amount of bitter hoppiness is in there. Roasted malts leave slight aftertaste. An excellent session this beer is.
