A bright buck hops with tradition, Tettnanger and Select. Golden yellow and slightly cloudy, the smell is banana. The malt aroma is sweet, the body full. The Bock has a honey-sweet taste, until the very bitter hops starts in the finish.

Now labeled at only 6.2%. Gold with a thin, frothy, white head. Grassy, herbal aroma with lots of honey and a mild, underlying fruitiness of indistinguishable nature. Taste is bittersweet with the emphasis on the honey and caramel sweetness. Finishes much the same, although a grainy bitterness lingers on the tongue. Body to the full side of medium, mild carbonation. Not bad.

6,2% ABV.

Bottle picked up from Biervana, München and consumed at home Sunday 6th December 2020 listening to Kelly Stoltz - Ah. Cooking Oven-baked kale gnocchi with balsamic tomatoes. Pours gold with a light haze, white head atop. Fresh nose, a touch of vanilla on the nose. Soft mouthfeel, really soft, creamy, malty, a little light metallic twang. I like this, very good.

330ml bottle [6.2% abv]. Clear, dark yellow-ish, golden colour with average, thick, firm, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, snow-white head. Slightly starchy, pale malty aroma, grassy and minimally strawy, hoppy overtones, whiffs of honey and elderflower. Taste is sweet-ish, pale malty, minimally grainy, strawy, grassy, a minimally sugary touch of honey, minimally papery, bitter hoppy overtones, whiffs of elderflower. Oily texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying palate, fine and soft carbonation. Well crafted, relatively drinkable, but somehow not appealing, rather boring, off-putting.
