A bright buck hops with tradition, Tettnanger and Select. Golden yellow and slightly cloudy, the smell is banana. The malt aroma is sweet, the body full. The Bock has a honey-sweet taste, until the very bitter hops starts in the finish.

Tap at Unorthodox. Well balanced. Med-high sweetness, med-full body and med-high honeyish maltiness with hints of grass and astringency. Only light warmth, moderate balancing bitterness. Not much hops character to speak of, lightly grassy, zesty, lemony. Overall easier to drink than expected, pretty clean. Good one.

330ml Bottle - Golden with a haze and a white head. Lemon peel, grain and hints of grapefruit in the aroma. Crisp and slightly zesty taste with lemon, grapefruit zest and hints of biscuits and tea. Enjoyable.

Flascherl: Golden, hazy with some minimalistic floaties, small 'n stable off-white foamy layer; medium bodied and a bit fizzy; moderate sweet-bitter nose with pale malt, traces of honey and well hidden "tannic" hops; moderate sweet-bitter flavour; lingering and drier bitter-tannic finish, balanced by shy malty traces. A bit underrated Heller Bock, a bit like a weaker version of the gorgeous FIEGE PILSBOCK...

Taste of strong/medium sweet malt, pale malt, some grainy malt, a bit spicy, soft green hops, not too bitter, interesting Heller Bock.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, golden colour with a short and slightly off-white frothy head. Starchy malty aroma with notes of bread, booze, caramel, and subtle fruity accents. Moderately sweet flavour, medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Bready malty base with notes of caramel, shades of hops and booze; slightly sticky finish with obvious notes of alcohol. Not that exciting. 25.IX.17
