On tap at Ølfestival 2011. A lightly reddish copper colored beer, clear, and topped by a two-finger pinkish white head. Fruit and sugar on the nose. Not very blackcurrant like I think, and to me that’s fine. Cellar, cherry, raspberry and some sugar on the palate, medium bodied, smooth and semi-tart. Cherry and cellar finish. A strange one, feels like it’s old and stale, definitely not my first choice. 110527

Draft @ Copenhagen Beer Festival 2011. Pours an amber reddish color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity dusty and slightly tart black currant aroma. Fruity and slightly tart sour black currant flavor. Has a fruity sour black currant finish.

On tap at KØ2011. Red golden colour with a pinkish head. Aroma is black current, malt. Flavour is black currant, malt, fruit. medium body. Ok beer.

Medium white creamy head. Amber body with small-bubbled carbonation. Perfumy blackberry aroma with floral notes. Dry-sweet blackberry taste with yoghurty floral notes. Mid-bodied. Sharpish mouthfeel. Dryish mealy blackberry aftertaste with floral metallic notes. Nice, but not terribly remarkable. (0.1l draft at DBF’11.)

Draught @ Bryggeri Skovlyst, Skovlystvej 2, 3500 Vaerloese, Denmark.Hazy medium red color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light pink head. Aroma is moderate forest berries, cassis, light tart and sweet berry, mazipan, phenol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light light acidic with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20100411]
