This beer is one of a kind! Four different malted barleys combine to create a distinctive, full-bodied beer with a roasted nuttiness, uniquely enhanced by a hint of hazelnuts. Smooth and creamy with the nose of the Williamette hop, this porter is a beer style unto itself.

Bottle. Loved this beer. Dark brown color with a medium tan head. A malty roasted nut aroma. Taste was a hazelnut laced chocolate delight. Nice.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Very dark, close to black. Low, brownish head. Very full and pleasant hazelnut flavour, very delicious - although the flavour is added albeit natural. Beer with added flavours is not a route we want to follow. Unfortunately this is very delicate. 3.0

Optisch eben Porter, schwarz wie die Nacht. Im Trunk röstig, leicht bitter, dennoch recht süffig. Haselnuss und Schokolade, lecker.

Draft at Sea Dog Brewpub in Conway, NH. Clear dark mahogany color with a small off-white head. Good lacing. Smooth. Heavier than average body. Has only a light coffee flavor.

From old tasting notes. Translucent reddish brown color topped by a rocky beige head. Interesting nutty malt aroma. Soft nutty malt flavor hints at English toffee and cappuccino. Tasty and drinkable.n

Some hazelnut, some roast. Not very well put together like knock off leggo. Pours bittersweet. Black pour with decent head. Tap at beer festival.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a very dark brown color with orange highlights and a medium sized foamy beige head that left no lacing. The aroma was roasty, sourish and off with notes of cocoa and nut. The flavor was buttery, sourish and off with some nut and roasty malts. Medium length finish. Medium body. Not good.
