Bottle picked up from Plodine supermarket Orebic, Pelješac peninsula Croatia and consumed at Camp Sunset 5km north of Primošten, Sunday 7th September 2025. We walked to/from our campsite, Camp Sunset along the coastal path to Primošten a nice 12km stroll. Pours hazy orange with a mid sized sticky white head. Nice soft mouthfeel, tangy and with a little honey edge, a little sweet maltiness, some grassy hoppiness, the goldings are a solid and reliable hop. This is nice, a solid golden with just enough bitterness to keep it interesting, but very drinkable.

Disig gulbrun med hvitt skum. Lukter urter, gjær og banan. Malt, urter og litt banan i smaken også.

[as Bura Brew Optimist Golding Ale, ABV 5.4%] Bottiglia. Al naso arrivano indizi di speziato. L'intensità olfattiva è elevata e l'esistenza olfattiva è sufficiente. Il mantello birroso superiore resiste poco. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido è di consistenza limpida. Il colore è giallo ambrato. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è pronunciato. La forza gustativa è elevata e la persistenza è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di pronta beva. Il retrogusto è intenso. Sul palato si fermano sentori di miele, cracker, crosta di pane, frutta secca, resina, pino, erbaceo, agrumi e arancia amara.

Farblich zeigt sich dieses Bier orange-ocker und kräftig trüb. Die weiße, feinporige Schaumkrone wirkt dabei wässerig-flaumig und fällt relativ rasch auf etwas über 5 mm zusammen. Nie Nase wird von süßlich-herben, leicht floralen bis deutlich fruchtigen Noten und einem malzigen Unterton umschmeichelt, welche an Getreide, Blumenwiese und Exotik (Mango, Papaya) erinnern. Der Antrunk kommt angenehm spritzig, wirkt frisch und süßlich-herb. Am Gaumen präsentiert sich ein sehr angenehmer, leichtgängiger Körper mit zarten Noten von Malz und wesentlich kräftigeren Fruchtnoten mit zarter Hintergrundsäure (reife Orange, Mango, Papaya). Hopfenherbe spielt in dieser Phase überhaupt keine Rolle und so ergibt sich ein ganz angenehmes, aber eher einfaches Gesamtbild. Mehr braucht ein gutes Golden Ale aber auch gar nicht - Komplexität und besondere Tiefe sucht man in anderen Bierstilen. Dieser Leichtgängigkeit verdankt dieses Bier ein ganz angenehmes Mundgefühl und eine sehr gute Süffigkeit. Im Nachtrunk bauen Rezenz und Säure ab und der fruchtige Charakter kommt wieder zum Vorschein. Nach längerer Zeit vernimmt man eine sehr zarte trockene Herbe.

5,4% ABV. Õlle on selline jook, et iga uus kord kui klaasi või pudeli suule tõstad, siis leiad midagi uut, sõltuvalt tuhandest-miljonist pisiasjast, mis hetke olukorda mõjutavad. Seega piirdun iga õlle juures selle tekstiga.
