Denne stærke, mørke ale er baseret på nøje udvalgte belgiske malttyper og en autentisk belgisk trappistgær. Aromaen præges af mørke bær og frugt. Den blide og komplekse smag er krydret, vinøs, karamel- og kandissød, let olieagtig og med et delikat indslag af chokolade, balanceret med en velafstemt bitterhed. Øllen vil begå sig glimrende til kraftige retter og endda som ledsager til desserter med mørk chokolade. Direktøren var Syndikatets første øl og er stadig vores brygmesters signaturøl. Den vil udvikle sig med alderen og kan gemmes i mange år.

Bottle @ Voldby Ølmesse. Pours hazy dark brown with a offwhite head. Aroma of malt, yeast, candy sugar. Flavor is very sweet with a malt, caramel, candy sugar. Medium body, soft carbonation. 250812

Markhaven Summer Fun 2012. Dark copper with a small off-white head. Rather clean aroma of toffee and dried fruit, with a hint of something herbal, perhaps rosemary. Sweetish dried fruit and malt flavour with notable alcohol.

Bottle 500ml.Clear medium to dark amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, malt extract, burnt sugar - malt. Flavour is light heavy sweet with a average to long duration, alcohol, yeasty - riped fruit, sweet sweet.
