Test vom 27.1.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 11,9,9,8,8,9 - 9,00

It’s not a bad beer, but also not a really good one. Very the same like some other famous German pilseners.

Bottle, 5.0%. Acidic aroma, not bad. Golden colour, small tight white head. Good mouthfeel. The flavour is slightly sweet with some fruity, hoppy sweetness in the aftertaste. Medium bitterness.

Bottle (thanx to EithCubes!) Golden coloured, lacing fluffy head; cardboardy nose with a touch of sweet pale malt; sweetish flavour, a bit sticky...; medium bodied; sweetish-worty - a bit perfumed - finish with some bitter edges. Not very pleasant, that’s enough to put anyone off...............

(bottle) Typical Pilsener appearance with a nice and lacing head. Grassy and slightly perfumed hoppy aroma. Bitter flavour, medium to light body, medium carbonation, smooth MF; hops accented taste with a balanced malty base, dry and bitter herbal hoppy finish with grassy notes.

Bottled (BB 06/2006)
Golden color, small creamy white head, lace. Lemony hoppy nose. Carbonated, good Saaz (or equivalent) hopping in the flavor. Balanced session pils, it is.

Medium white creamy head sites nicely atop clear straw yellow body, with constant carbonation. Faint aroma of hops and maybe some straw. Clean, soft, and smooth mouthfeel. When cold it’s terribly boring; when warmer there’s still hardly any malt taste, but quite a powerful hop taste, and quite bitter. Quite a good pilsener. Very nice edge to the bitterness, which balances nicely on the tongue. A subtle beer; quite good.
