0.33 l bottle from 'Craftbeershop.com', best before September 2023. Clear, golden with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Slightly sweetish, a bit grassy aroma of grains, light straw and traces of honey. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter and slightly floral taste of grains, some honey and hints of lemon peel, followed by a short, gently bitter, slightly dry finish. Medium to full body, smooth but quite effervescent mouthfeel, average to lively carbonation. Pleasant Bock, quite hoppy for the style although not overly aromatic.

Bottle @ Zum Adler, Pfronten. On the menu as Maibock. Pours a clear yellow golden colour and a rocky white head with good lacing. Aroma's: malty sweet, along with some sweet fruit (pear?) retronasal. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter. Medium bodied. Long finish, and the bitterness increases to moderate bitter. Much more like a Maibock than the ones I had at Garmischer Hof and Falkenstein.

Thin off white head on a clear amber body. Sweet malt & bready aroma. Medium bodied, smooth, soft & clean on the back. Tangy citrus, honey, grape & zesty tastes with a tangy hopped up finish. Ooh, very nice.

Bottle at home, 17th October 2021. Pours a clear beer, with tiny bubble and a frothy white bubbly head. Aroma is yeast, dough and straw, fresh grass. Taste is yeasty, light caramel, straw and fresh grass, hay, dough, bread, bittersweet. Overall it’s a decent beer, not a favourite style of mine, but these guys do it well
