(Bottle, 0.33 l - BB 31.07.2020, from Alko, 20190201) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had coffee, metal and burnt malts. Palate was full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, coffee, burnt malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was burnt and bitter. A bit unbalanced burnt brew with some unpleasant notes.

Keg at Craft Theory Fest. Ended up downing this one as in a hurry. Pleasant chocolate and coffee in taste and aroma. A tad on the light side but good stuff.

568ml bottle. Pours very dark brown with a stable tan head. Tons of coffee on the nose, dark chocolate, roast malts. Taste is similarly strong on the coffee and sweet dark chocolate, hints of dark fruits, lactose, bitter roasted malts on the finish. Medium body, smooth creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. An excellent stout.

Appearance- pretty much black, opaque, a small beige head which quickly disappears. Aroma- lots of milk chocolate, rich coffee, toffee, fudge cake, cocoa powder, hints of vanilla, chocolate malt. Taste- lots of milk chocolate, cocoa powder, mixed with dusty roast coffee, chocolate fudge cake, roasted dark malt, sweet malt comes through towards the finish. Mouthfeel is full, the oat presence is very noticeable. Bittersweet moreish finish. Very good.

Bottle from Brewcraft at home with shakshuka for lunch. Dark black pour, fine tan head. Aroma is coffee and roasted chocolate with some dark booziness. Taste is quite bitter raw chocolate with some coffee and booze. Palate a bit chalky unfortunately. Otherwise a very solid breakfast stout.
