Espresso totally dominates this beer. Pours syrupy with some mocha-coloured bubbles. Thick black liquid on palate. Some roast malt detectable and some caramel. Finishes sweet and bitter. Average on palate - one-dimensional. Cask Days 2013.

A deep dark stout with a thin brown head. In aroma, loads of herbaceous coffee grind and bitter herbs, light licorice, quite nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate with coffee grind, musty character, smooth and pleasing. Cask Days 2013.

On tap at the Craft. Opaque dark brown - black beer. Small and short lived tan head. Smooth rich dark malt. Very tangy with quality coffee. Nice dark fruits ride alongside - prunes, tart plum and a whisper of cherry, Semi dry finish with more tart fruits lingering in the aftertaste. Really like the contrast of the smooth rich dark malt and coffee and the tart fruits. Nice one Arbor!
