Bastante dulzona. Entra bien.

Bottle at the Esterhazy restaurant in Vienna. Pours ruddy brown with a small beige head. Dark malt aroma. Med body, or nearly. Flavor is sweet dark malt, but there’s enough hop to make it work. Drinks nicer than expected for such a low ABV.

Tap and then bottle in Vienna. Old rating. Rather sweet caramel and chocolate, rich flavor, lightly roasty. A little more interesting and flavorful than most other Austrian dunkels I have had. It is far too sweet, though, and becomes cloying. From the bottle it is not as nice.

0.5l bottle. Dark ruby/brown body, light brown head. Nice grainy, roasty and caramelly aroma. The taste is Caramelly, grainy, roasty and a hint of floral hops in the finish. OK beer, but it is a bit too sweet for my taste.

Brown with a tan head. Light vegetal aroma which was a bit off-putting. Flavor had that and some dark malt sweetness. Slight bready malt, too. The vegetal note really killed this one.

Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. DArk red-amber colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Toffee notes. Light swet and bitter flavor. Toffee notes. Some licorice. Average finish. Oily palate. Nice.

Thick lasting light brown foam. Dark red-brown color. Robust taste with roasted malts and a well balanced bitterness.
