BORIS #100 was made with the finest English Pale Ale malt instead of our usual American malt, to celebrate brewing the 100th. batch of BORIS The Crusher Oatmeal-Imperial Stout. This adds a slightly sweeter and truly traditional flavor for this truly bodacious English-style Imperial Stout, our flagship beer! Made in extremely limited quantites.

My goodness what a beer. So smooth and tasty. Complete black with a fine beige head. Full body and a soft carbonation level. Balanced sweetness. Oak, chocolate, coffee and mild roast.

Bottle big thanks to Todd. I’ve wanted this for sometime. Pours a nice jet black color with a small beige grey head. The aroma is rich roast, coffee, metallic. The flavor is ashy, sweet, some age shows in light oxidation, tangy metal, dark fruit. Solid.

22 oz bottle poured into a snifter. Thanks to my friend Daniel for the trade. Pours a thick motor oily black with minimal head, mostly a half finger tan ring. Aromas of roast, dark chocolate, vanilla, a bit of booze. Tastes of sweet dark fruit, raisins, dark chocolate, a little soy sauce, light floral hops. Full body with a dry finish. Thick oily mouthfeel, medium-low carbonation. Nice variant of BORIS.

Bottle @ Steve’s house. Thanks to a chill Ohio trader for sending me this. Pours a deep brown appearance with a thin dark head. A lot more spicy aroma than the last Boris variant. A bit minty, ginger, dark chocolate, caramel nose. Body is a bit flabby. Slightly piney, dark chocolate, twangy toffee flavor. The body is surprisingly flabby. Drinks pretty good but I think I prefer normal Boris better.

Bottle shared at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Black-colored with a bit of brown foam. Lovely roasty aroma with lots of dark chocolate, a bit of liqueur-like booziness, notes of dark fruits and a bit of licorice. Sweet roasty flavor, quite burnt, a bit alcoholic, with lots of dark chocolate. Full-bodied. A good Imperial Stout, a very pleasant sipper.

Bottle at "Ölkalas hos Ekne". Black with a small tan head. This was a fairly relaxed one with roasted malt, chocolate, some coffee and oatmeal. The finish was long and rather bitter. Tasty.

Sample at the HSC July 4th beer tasting. Pours black with a medium tan head that diminishes slowly. Patchy lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of roast malt, chocolate and fruit. Full-bodied with flavors of earthy malt, chocolate, hops and a touch of dark fruit. The finish is roasty with a bittersweet chocolate aftertaste. Good beer all around.
