With its lightly copper-tinted foam and amber red color, the character of this Collesi Rossa Craft Beer is unmistakable. Obtained from select malts and hops, unpasteurized and naturally bottle conditioned, Collesi Rossa Craft Beer distinguishes itself with the intense aromas of caramel, dark spices, malt and toasted hazel nuts. Its prolonged aromatic persistence combines a sweet taste enriched with mineral notes.

Damn, only noted it down as Collesi Imper Ale, but I’m pretty sure it’s the Rossa This poured a brown, slightly amberish body with a very big slightly off white head that went away slowly. It opened with a huge pop, literally making a little dent in my ceiling... Fresh but very dusty aroma. Soft malty, yeasty taste, drinkable, light roast, slightly flowery, very light acidity. Ok.

Location: 750 ml bottle, 8/19/11

Aroma: The nose is mostly sweet fruits, with some caramel, wood, and yeast as well
Appearance: It pours a hazy reddish-amber color with a bubbly brown-beige head
Flavor: The flavor is rather sweet as well, with some light yeast presence
Palate: The body is fairly light, and it would be fairly drinkable, except that the overly fizziness
Overall Impression: Overall, I didn't love this beer. It's overly carbonated which inhibits the drinkablility, and it doesn't have a ton of depth of character beyond the sweetness. I didn't love it.

750 ml. Great looking bottle. Stylish. The typography is contemporary like something you’d see on a trendy nightclub’s logo. The beer, unfortunately, is average at best. Cloudy deep brown body with a beige head. Delicate (that means wimpy) aroma of overripe fruit, toasted grain, Belgian yeast. Some spiciness. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture and lively carbonation. The taste is dominated by raw grain and yeastiness. Some hint of clove and basement. Disappointing.

Bottled at Københavnske Øldage 2011. Cloudy amber, small head. Mild perfumy nose. Mid sweet with rounded mouthfeel. Pears and raisins, some dough. A malt character with depth. A laid back, pleasant ale. --- Beer aliased from original tick of 1970 Rossa on 01 Oct 2015 at 08:39 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 6. Bottled. An unclear dark amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of fruit, malt, and alcohol. The flavor has strong notes of malt, caramel, alcohol, and phenols, leading to a dry alcoholic finish.
