Dark red - brown beer, tidy pale tan head. Odd nose of malt, water chesnuts and dentyne chewing gum. Light dry palate. Sweet dry malt with a trace of spicy bubblegum. Hard sugar candy sweets. Trace of hop fruits. Dry finish with mild alcohol warmth. A tad messy!

16.9oz bottle shared by Anndiesel. Deep unfiltered burgundy body, quick fading beige head. A pretty good Belgian-style/Italian Red, nice soft champagne effervescence, lots of fruity amber malt tones. Somewhat sharp and vinous upfront. Sugary, very sweet...not very sessionable, not because of the ABV...the malts and candi sugary make it a little overbearing. Still an OK offering, unique.

Bottle at Danske Ølentusiasters Ølfestival 2012, Copenhagen
Cloudy red amber color; poor head. Light aroma of caramel and chocolate. Good body strength, caramel flavor with a hint of mild chocolate, but unfortunately some yeast and vegetables like all Collesi beers.

Bottle @ Dan’s house. Hazy, reddish, a touch violet appearance with a small, light brown head. A bit fruity, somewhat citrusy, a touch spicy, bready aroma. Spicy, a touch of cardboard, bready, light berry, somewhat fruity flavor. A bit gone but decent enough.

Bottle, at Ølfestival 2011. A dark amber beer topped by a dense, creamy, light beige head. Almost clear. The aroma has a milky hint, with caramel and maltyness. Sweet and fruity flavor with caramel notes and some chocolate. A little bitterness shows up towards the end, but I don’t think it’s sufficient. Medium body, with decent carbonation. I’m not very impressed with the Collesi beers, this being no exception, but they’re drinkable and certainly not all bad. 110528

Bottled 750ml. -from Julius Meinl Am Graben, Vienna. Murky amber coloured, medium sized beige head, pleasant caramel fruity nose. Moderate malty, yeasty and slight acidic fruity with mild spicy alcoholic notes. Also some caramel in the finish. Pretty good brew.

Bottle. Frothy off-white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and hoppy and light yeasty aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Some fruity esters. Oily palate. Too expensive.

15/08 0.75 l bottle courtesy of ogivlado, thanks for sharing! It poured hazy reddish brown body with big head. Rich caramel and yeasty aroma. Slightly fruity as well. Weaker, but fine flavor of some dark malt like caramel, brown sugar, sweetish, slightly yeasty. Medium body with quite long fine sweetish and slightly sour finish. Not bad, though expected more, and if you rate it as a style it’s rather simple.
