Imperial Brown Ale
This bold, brown ale gets its body from a team of malts including caramel malt for sweetness, flaked barley for dense foam, a bit of chocolate malt for its deep color, and aromatic and Munich malts to add even more depth. German and Perle hops add a touch of bitterness to balance the malty sweetness. The addition of rich Sumatra coffee takes this perfectly balanced brown ale to a decadent level.

Bottle from Discount Liquor. Pours a deep brown to black with a finger of foam that lingers. Nose is all roasted coffee, cacao nib and toasted caramel. Coffee bomb with cacao, almond and a touch of cola on the palate. Quaffable for 9% abv. Endless coffee. Bitter, roasty finish, but still well-balanced with the malt. Lingering chocolate and coffee. Absurdly good.
