Bottle.Color: Dark ruby, light brown head. Taste: Roasted (but not too much) malt, chocolate, grainy, hints of caramel, red fruit and brown sugar. Some bitterness, mostly towards the finish. Nice balanced and pretty mild dunkler bock.

Many thanks for this swing-top bottle to kevnic2008. Piwo o sredniej piance, mało trwalej. Brazowo rubinowej barwie. Pachnace karmelowa posypka na paczku. W smaku zbyt karmelowe słodkawe piwo. Lekko nuty palone. Ale ostatecznie dla mnie brakowało tu równowagi. Piwo za słodkie i tyle

Keg at the brewery tap, 07/02/15. Chestnut brown with a solid light tan covering that retains well. Nose is biscuit malt, toffee, dark fruits, raisens, earthy. Taste comprises biscuit notes, toffee, light spice, black pepper, dark maltings. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, hint of booze in the close. Decent enough bock.
