50cl Bottle at PINT Meibockfestival. Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of light sulphury hops, grainy malts. Flavour is malty, light bready, grain, light fruity, grassy hoppy finish. Light to medium bodied. Not great.

Bottle 50cl. @ home.Clear medium yellow orange color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, fruity, sugar. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090628]

bottle, pours deep gold, thin white head. Bready nose, tons of malt character. Sweet malt, some peppery spice and a light bitter hop finish. Balanced well, very easy to drink, and slightly stronger than most German beers.

Dank an MoritzF! Pünktlich zum Ostersonntag gibt es Osterbier, und dann auch noch von Hasen-Bräu! Blassgelb, viel Schaum. Schmeckt wie ein typisches bayrisches Export, nur etwas stärker. Süßlich-malzig, ziemlich süßlich, kaum herb. In der Mitte ist der Alkohol leicht spürbar. Insgesamt aber würzig und süffig. BTO 04/2007

The bottle looks not bad, but the rabbit looks a bit too funny. The beer is very zippy, nice head. Hoppy and sweet aroma. For a festbier it’s too mild and not complex enough. Starts hoppy-spicy, modest sourish finish. Not so good.
