Is there any pairing more perfect than sour beer and stone fruit? We start with the very best fruit: yellow nectarines grown in the bright Central California sun at Blossom Bluff Orchards, along the banks of the King’s River.
Picked at peak ripeness, we add the nectarines to a sour base beer, combining the funky flavors of brett with a bright acidity to highlight the fruit. The result is something special: golden hued beer with fruit aromatics jumping off the glass, the last of summer captured in a bottle.

Reviewed from notes.
Bottle to tulip.
Appearance: orange to copper color with a quickly dissipating head which didn't leave any lace
Aroma: tart and sweet nectarine fleshy and skin accents, vinous, vinegar, subtle grassy hops and citrusy tones
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas together in a sour to tart sort of way with a vinous sweet edge underneath; finishes with the nectarine sweet and tart notes
Texture: medium bodied, this is a sipper; plenty of sour to tart vibes acting harsh to the tongue
Overall: nicely done fruited sour ale worthy of more pours.

375ml bottle pours out golden topped with a white head fizzy head. Nose is nice rich stone fruit with jammy sweetness and tart pucker. Tatse is more of the nice sweet and tart stone fruit kick.

Bottle, many thanks to Thomas Schneider! Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is fresh nectarine, yoghurt, heavy barrel funk, quite tart, a bit farty. Taste is heavily sour, nectarine skin, wood, tannic. Medium carbonation, oily mouthfeel. Very nice, but also very sour, as many of their Farmer's Reserves.

At a tasting, almost no head, quite hazy and a bit intense yellow color, aroma of nectarine, pits, almond and feral hint, flavor of nectarine, light vinegar sourness and mineral hints. Very nice easy and enjoyable.
