Oneida is Hallertau Blanc-centric. The bright tropical fruit and lemongrass notes give it an uber-pungent aroma, with the grapefruity citrus of Cascade providing a touch of balance. We've also added experimental hop variety 05256 to the mix, adding a nice hop complexity while keeping it a drinkable pale ale. While more aggressively bitter than Fortunate Islands, Oneida still has a light body and moderate ABV. We're considering making Oneida our spring seasonal, but that's all kind of up in the air.

16 oz. can. It pours a pale yellow color with a white head. The aroma has big floral, grapefruit, tangelo notes. The flavor is the same. Lots of citrusy, floral orange and grapefruit. Low to medium bitterness with very light bready malt. Dry finish. Really nice stuff.

Draught. Almost clear pale golden liquid with medium off-white head. Aroma of citrus, lemon, tangerine, earth, grain, bread and wood. Taste is light sweet and medium bitter with notes of citrus, lemon, tangerine and bread. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Ok, but a bit stale.

Whiskey glass showing dark gold with sparse white foam. The nose shows mostly a tea-like forwardness with a clean & sharp pine note in the background. The palate is full bodied and well carbonated. Slight hop profile that is balanced with a well balanced malt profile, great for a summer sipper.

Pours yellowish orange with a smooth head. Aroma of juicy fruits, tropical notes, citrus and pine. Taste is smooth, hoppy, juicy fruity and tropical with loads of pine. Finish is juicy fruity, hoppy and tropical with some grass and pine. Great stuff.

Can shared at the WWWW Mid Atlantic Summer Beer Tasting. Clear golden, thin creamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of citrus, piney hops, pale malt. The taste is pale malt, citrus, piney hops. Medium bodied, mild lingering bitterness.
