Our Steam Lager is one of our most popular lines and you’re likely to see it on tap in many different establishments around Norfolk and beyond. Technically our Steam Lager is a hybrid beer – which means it’s brewed with lager yeast, but at ale temperatures. Combined with our special selection of hops – including Cascade and Bravo – this gives it a special malty quality with notes of citrus, as well as a deep caramel colour. We’ve gone the extra mile to give Steam Lager that special little something to set it apart from the rest.

Keg at Hanging Bat. Pours clear orange gold with little to no head. Smells of butterscotch and grassy hops. Bit of fruit to the flavour, but not much. hard to say something nice about this. A not-very-well-made lager.
