Danke an MoritzF. 11/8/9/8/7/8

A very nice beer from Ochsenfurt. Nice dose hops - not too much nor too little - just right. However, suffers from the drinkability.

Bottle: Golden, bigger fluffy white head, that slowly diminishes; sweet-strawy nose with a sourish touch and grassy hops underneath; moderate dryish bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied; short dry bitter finish. Average german "Premium"-quality, boring............

Bottled(330ml). -from some restaurant on motorway near Augsburg.
Golden coloured, medium sized white head, grainy nose. Malty, weak hoppy and grainy with grassy and cereals notes. Dry bitterish finish. Average CGP.

bottle, thank you MoritzF! Clear golden yellow, small head. Hoppy nose. Medium-bodied, fresh and crip taste. Malty background with aromatic herbal and slightly grassy hops, with a tiny touch of barnyard.

(from the tap) Had this one at a crappy bistro after a long and joyful wine-tasting session at the vineyard of Glaser-Himmelstoss in the medieval town of Dettelbach, Franconia when desperately seeking for a final beer in the middle of the night. Clear pale golden colour with a fluffy but rather quickly diminishing white foam. Dense aroma of grassy hops and light sweet malt. Bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, moderately carbonated. Dry hoppy and malty taste; dry and bitter but rather slim and slightly metallic finish. Not very exciting, although it was the right stuff to calm down and get sleepy after so much (excellent &) upsetting wine.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pale golden fresh pilsner with a nice creamy head. Good malty fullness and a rather present hoppy bitterness. Quite typical German quality-pils without too much fuss. (310504)

A hazy yellow beer with a white head. The aroma is of hops and grass. The flavor is hoppy with hints of caramel and the body is thin.

Bottle. Grass/hay malt aroma and mild hops. Medium yellow color with small head. Mildly sweet malt and flowery hops flavor - decent palate. Good typical German pilsener.

Very pale gold; virtually no head. Nose of grain, bit of chaff, faint hops. Quite bitter taste - not bad at all. Good german-type hops, with good sugary malt underneath. But bitterness & hops faint with the finish, a bit of metallic tang excepted. Aftertaste is reall poor: metallic and watery. It started not bad at all whilst tasting. But oh for that finish.
