Next up, a lager. There are two schools of thought here, you can either keep it classic and nail the colours of Germany or the Czech Republic to the mast, or you can freestyle. Lost Lager is the best of both worlds. BrewDog Head of Production Jason Pond has spent months dialling in a brand new dry-hopped pilsner that has, at its heart, two secret weapons.
The first is the contemporary German hop variety Saphir – renowned for a vibrancy of citrus and stone fruit. The second is the deployment of lager yeast from the world-beating Weihenstephan. Conditioned for 28 days, Lost Lager is destined to be a crisp, clean pilsner with hints of spice and a zesty lime marmalade character. Prepare to lose yourself at the end of the month.

This is way out of good pilsner. Only color is ok-light gold. No head, very small, fast diminished. Weak aroma. Malts behind, but some weird bitterness ahead. Not satisfying at all.

Can that pours a clean golden colour with a white, frothy head, decent stay and some foamy lacing. Fresh hoppy aromas of spiciness, grassiness with a cereal malt background. This stays in the flavours. A nice, refreshing spicy herbal mild pilsner.

Bottle. Pours haze bright yellow with huge foamy white head. Aroma is grassy and resinous hops with notes of lemon, spruce and malt. Taste is light to medium sweet, medium bitter and light acidic. Body is oily with fizzy carbonation. Finish is long and mostly bitter with notes of malt, spruce, grass, flowers, hay, cereal and with a refreshing crisp lager dryness.

Pour is a crystal clear gold with a large fluffy white head. Aroma is a nice white bready malt. I don't get much in the way of hops but the malt smells really good. Flavor is again a real nice chewy wet dough bready malt. I don't get much in the way of hops even though it says dry-hopped on the can but if you like your pils more on the malty side then this is for you.
