Der Helle Bock begrüßt uns mit einer geheimnisvoll rotorangenen Farbe, durchzogen von feinen Kohlensäurefäden. Über dieser spannenden Versuchung steht ein fester, feinporiger und leicht cremefarbener Schaum. Ihm entströmen süße Wiesenhonigaromen, ein Hauch von Rosinen und Stroh, sowie der Duft frisch gebackenen Pizzateigs aus dem Steinofen. Der Antrunk startet ebenso süß und geht dann auf der Zunge moussierend in Honig-Karamelltöne über. Die klingen mit einer schönen Vanillenote aus, der eine dezente Hopfenbittere mit sehr langem Finale folgt.

Bottle @ Dolles Bockstival — Bocken varer lige til påske, 5000 Odense C. Pours Clear Golden with a White head. Toffeish, bread, Caramel and Grass. Smooth with a Dry bitter finish. A bit Sweet.

(bottle) Clear, deep golden colour with a short off-white foamy head. Slightly buttery and nutty malty aroma with hints of caramel and a whiff of alcohol. Mildly bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Hearty, slightly nutty malt character, slightly oxidised taste with caramel and a rough alcoholic note towards the bitter-sweet finish. Not particularly rounded. 10.I.17

Clear golden with little white head. Aroma is some chalk and fruchtgummi, maybe strawberry sweeties. Taste is much juicy malt sweetness with rough alcoholic bitterness. Too rough on the tongue. Finish of much juicy stuff. Ok.

Bottle. Golden color with small white head. Aroma is starch, cardboard, papery malts. Taste is sweetish malts, honey, again cardboard and starch. Medium carbonation. Not very good. 4-2-5-2-7Bottle, 2 years later and way fresher. Still a bit weirdly starchy, farty, fruity yeast flavours, not quite mine. 5-3-5-3-9

Rerate from a carbonated bottle: Really nice balance and moreish, mellow chewy mouthfeel, nice hop finish. Bottle, loose cap. Dark golden, low head. Spicy honey nose. Medium dry, herbal, low carbonation, grainy, light honeyish finish. Hope to get it properly carbonated one day.

50cl bottle. Pours clear deep golden colour with a huge most good lasting white head. Aroma of strong mild sweet malt, grains, pale fruits. Taste of strong malt, pale fruits, grains, nothing special.
