Cat Spit is a very easy drinking oatmeal stout that everyone loves because it is frickin awesome. It has a good amount of flavor in the roasty area, that comes only from the malt bill. It’s just the way I like a stout to be, so there.
Note: Cat Spit Stout has been reformulated as an Oatmeal Milk Stout beginning in early 2015.

Draft pour at Jackpot DC. Poured a nearly pitch black color with a small white head. Maybe cola colored since this place is underground and pretty dark. Aroma was light coffee, roasted notes. Flavor was pleasant coffee, some creamy character here, which I really found quite nice and almost sessionable.

Tap at the magic tree. Finally a stout that is like a stout. Pitch black. Thin scum for a head. Mild roasty nose. At first its very boozy o the palate but then it grows on you. A little sweet in the middle. Maybe even a tad cloying. Burnt damp old campfire wood finish. Not bad.

Can picked up from Beer Gonzo and consumed at home Attenkirchen Sunday 1st December 2019 cooking a Beef Rendang and listening to one of our 🎸🎶 albums of 2019 🎸🎶 DIIV - Deceiver. I found this yesterday in what I thought was an empty box that I was going to recycle. Pours black with a very large light beige head. Aroma is coffee and to a lesser extent a touch of vanilla. Good roastiness, creamy, smooth and very, very easy drinking. Like this a lot, shit name but a great beer.

Dark brown colour, small beige head and lace. Toasted, chocolatey aroma. Medium-bodied. Roasted, bitter, chocolaty, smooth flavour. Nice roastyness but a but one-dimensional. Tasty anyhow.
