Bottle. Sweet chocolate caramel with spicy grassy hops aroma. Reddish brown color with large head. Sweet chocolate caramel malt and light bitter grass hops flavor. Very nice - more like a dunkel than a Kellerbier.

Bottled. Mahogany colour, firm head. Molasses and hazelnuts up front. Medium sweet and mediu bodied with rounded mouthfeel. The concentrated roasty flavour with licorice and chocolate makes it almost porterlike.

Bottle from Landbierparadies, Nurnberg. Amber coloured with a moderate white head and lacing. Aroma of caramel and honey. Flavour was also sweet, although with a nutty edge and a decent bitter finish. Enjoyable.
