"The tombs from the Age of the Pyramids would have inscriptions on the tomb that would read, “May this official be given a thousand loaves of bread, a thousand jugs of beer”, in hopes this prayer would be enough to feed the ka, if no offerings were available"

"The Ka was the Egyptian concept of vital essence, which distinguishes the difference between a living and a dead person, with death occurring when the ka left the body.
...
The Egyptians also believed that the ka was sustained through food and drink."

Draught @ Protokoll, Berlin. Pours hazy amber with small white head. Clear aroma of malt and yeast, with fruity, peachy notes. Sour, vinous flavour with estery notes and touches of dust and malt. Dusty and vinous aftertaste. Bery low carbonation. Not bad but the body could be richer.
