On tap at the restaurant, near Kressbonn, Lake Bodenessee, Germany, 14-06-10 Sat drinking this whilst admiring the views looking out across the vineyards and over to Lake Bodenessee. Pours amber with a white bubbly head and very slight haze. This is the least carbonated beer that I’ve had so far in Germany. Quite strong in the mouth, a little sticky, sweet and malty. draught at the brewery restaurant & bottled @ home. Clear golden colour with an amber glow, large and creamy head. Malty-hoppy nose with a fruity character. Starts surprisingly mild. Malty background with shy hop flavours (resiny, grassy with a flowery touch) and a nice fruity touch (citrus fruit/tangerine/clementine). Well-balanced but a bit too mild. I would have loved the flavours to be much more intensive.

Bottled (BB 03/2007). Dark honey golden color, small firm white head. Ashy, grassy nose. Grassy, medium-bodied, maybe slightly diacetylic flavor. Tettnanger aromatic hops used here according the bottle. Grassy, malty aftertaste.
