Bottle. A clear, dark golden beer with a nice, white head. Sweet, malty nose with alcohol and some caramel. Sweet, caramel flavor with alcohol a bit more evident than I prefer. Sweet, caramel finish with a little alcohol and some bitterness. Full body. A decent bock, but the alcohol is too evident, and frankly, I prefer the dark ones. 090829

Bottled (Beerangel, BB 02/2010). Clear amber color, not much head. Caramelly and bready nose, sweetish. Caramel malty, bready, cookie-like malt profile. Light alcohol and some grassy hops in the otherwise sweetish-bready finish. Quite flat mouthfeel. Balanced, simple ... but all right.

Bottled. A dark amber beer with a tan head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel, malt, and some metal. The flavor is sweet and quite metallic from the alcohol, combined with notes of nuts, caramel, and alcohol, as well as light notes of bread, leading to a dry metallic and alcoholic finish.
