On tap at Ambar. Clear gold, decent head, mild nose. Creamy mouthfeel, nice grain flavors and a bit of sweet-and-hoppy mixed finish. Very nice Helles on tap at least.

Slightly darker than golden, clear. A couple of fingers of a quite dense head. Good enough retention and lacing. Decent intensity in a not too deep aroma. Cereal/hay malty base, quite strong honey notes, maybe a hint of chamomille. Taste confirms a honey oriented helles: cerealish, slightly crackery malts base, vivid honey notes, a fruity apple-like hint. Quite high in sweetness, even per style, but with a clean mouth and finish, and thus overall well balanced. Medium to light body, average carbonation. Mouthfeel is overall fuller than what you usually find in a helles, but the beer still has typical bavarian quaffability. Overall: a simple, solid helles, perhaps lacking the finesse of some it's fellows.

bottiglia 50 cl, schiuma bianca fine media persistenza, colore giallo paglierino limpido, al naso leggero cereali miele note erbacee, in bocca malto cereali e miele, corpo leggero, carbonazione moderata, dolce con amaro leggero. Non male, si beve bene. c. Cantina della birra 28.05.21

6/12/2020. Bottle courtesy of Idiosynkrasie, cheers Boris! Pours clear golden with a frothy white head. Aroma is sweet, grainy, malty, mashed fruit, straw and a touch of marzipan. Quite heavy sweetness, light bitterness. Moderate body, oily texture, average carbonation. Sweet, and slightly metallic, finish. Okay.

Tap @ Kloster-Braeustueberl Reutberg. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, light bready and light hoppy - grass. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 120719

Tap. Biscuit and lemon nose, rather plain. Sweet rich malt, lemony, peppery finish. Nice full body.
