Bottle (thanks marduk). Pours golden with whiteish head. Aroma is cucumber, fruits, mslt, grains. Flavor is sweet and bitter, grains, malt. Body is watery. Overall: drinkable.

Fra flaske på ølsmagning "Bayern vs. Berlin" (DØE København Nord) sep-17: klar lys gylden med ok skum. Søtlig, fruktig aroma og smak med hint av blomster. Mild og frisk bitterhet. Lettbent og med en ganske kort avslutning, slik at den blir svært lettdrikkelig.

500 ml bottle. Pours clear bright golden with decent head. Nice hoppy citrus and herbal aroma, grassy and a bit sea salt. Very crisp and fresh metallic bitterness. Lively carbonated, light bodied. Very refreshing. Abrupt finish. That's how a Helles should be. Well made one!

Clear golden with little white head. Aroma is straw slight vomit tart grass. Taste is grainy flat tart hops. Bah. Flat body grainy on the tongue. Rather not. 63526 Rerate: the vomit is gone. Some more malty caramel and toast and some herbs. Medium body. The graininess seems to be some herbal character. I dont think its flat anymore. Seems like i had a really bad day back then...

Bottle, courtesy of SinH4. Pours clear golden with a decent head. Aroma is buttery malts in a good harmony, some sugar, hay. Body is rather light, decently sweet with a soft bitterness and a lively carbonation. Smooth. Rather dry palate. A decent Helles for sure!

Tap at the Klosterbräustüberl. Golden color with white head. Aroma is pale malts, fruity in a subtle way, with a touch of herbal hops. Taste is juicy malts, herbal hops, some jammy fruits. Medium carbonation. A very refreshing, crisp, and tasty Helles.

Tap at the Kloster. Golden, white lace. Nice classic aromatic hops all through on a chewy yet crisp malt base. Light salt, moreish.
