Sampled from 0.33 l bottle at Best Western Woerden. Pitch black with a medium large, frothy, stable, beige head. Sweetish, malty and moderately roasty aroma of nougat, coffee, hazelnut and some licorice. Quite sweet, malty and moderately roasty taste of nougat, hazelnut, coffee, some licorice and a touch of dark fruits, followed by a medium long, rather roasty-bitter, slightly earthy-dry finish. Medium to full body, creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very nice!

Bottle shared @ hotelroom tasting after Borefts Beer Festival Day 1. Opaque pitch black color, full sized a bit foamy light brown colored head. Smell and taste malts, some roast, dark malts, liquorice, sweetish a bit and liquorice bitter finish. Decent to medium body, average carbonation. Not a bad start for a new brewery!
