2019er version. Thanks to Kappldav123. Deep grainy sweetish nose. The beer starts grainy, intense malty. Moderate bitter with a grainy aftertaste.

2019. Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass dark brown, small head. Dry malty aroma. Starts fine malty, light roasty, some hints of caramel, alcoholic background. Finish with notes of some dried fruits, light herbal touch. Not bad.

330ml bottle. Chestnut colour with ruby shimmer, lots of tiny floaters and small, creamy, half-way lasting, moderately lacing, beige head. Weak, minimally toasty, dark malty aroma, hints of malt lozenge, a touch of dark caramel, after warming up additional whiffs of coffee. Taste is dry, minimally sweet, toasty, dark malty, notes of malt lozenge, hints of dark caramel, weak, bitter hoppy counterpart. Watery texture, soft, minimally dry, simultaneously minimally cloying palate, fine and soft carbonation. Somehow restricted, unbalanced, heterogeneous - not convincing.

20-12-20 // 2018 vintage. 330ml bottle thanks to Koelschtrinker. Aged well. Great roast malt notes. Coffee and dark fruits. Chocolate.
