Last night. 330ml bottle thanks to Koelschtrinker. Aged well. Great roast malt notes. Coffee and dark fruits. Chocolate.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an opaque, dark brown with a lacing beige head. Lovely, nutty, toffee ish nose. Well attenuated making it far from cloyingly sweet yet still rich in delicious malts. Again toffee and nuts but also toffee and burned caramel. To me this is exactly how a good Doppelbock should be like. Subdued hops. 230820

Magus, mõru, karamell, pähkline, linnased, põlenud suhkur, katab alksi hästi. Lõpus on humalat ja karamelli. Täitsa ok.

Bottle from trade with rauchbierlover, many thanks, man. Brown color with thick beige head. Wood, candies, sweet malt. Taste, solid malty base followed by candies, syrup, alcohol. Good.

Bottle, dark brown light haze, good looking medium head. Drunk scheduled around the eating and pooping habits of a very small person. Sweet raisin toffee nose, flavor is super sweet starting with sticky candy. Some toasty chocolate malt notes come in the middle, then it turns to cotton candy and brown sugar at the end. Great dessert, like an espresso with sugar and a grappa poured on the settled sugar!

Bottle picked up from Die Bierothek, München. Consumed at home Saturday 2nd November 2019 listening to Craig Charles 'Funk and Soul show' on 6Music. Pours dark brown with an off white head, like a dark, sweet sticky cake. Thick in the mouth, amazingly easy drinking for a 9% beer. The hoppiness is good, but combination with the dark molasses, even better. Really good.
