Das goldene Märzen: Vollmundig, kräftig, malzig! Feine Karamellnoten und angenehm-milde Hopfenbittere! Ein wahres Genusserlebnis!

This golden yellow Märzen beer, a jewel of Bavarian brewing, combines an exceptionally fine scent with a light, fruity flavor. Full-bodied and spicy at the same time, the malt is emphasized from first sip to the finish.

Bottle. Grainy malt aroma - lightly sweet. Amber color with minute head. Rather weak flavor - mildly sour malt intially with sweetness coming out in the middle and the merest hint of hops at the end. A good Vienna but nothing to set it apart.

(Bottle 50 cl) Beautiful, deep amber. Just about no head. Malty caramel aroma, fine balance between sweetness and bitterness, but somehow lacking in body. Pleasant Vienna. 120305

A dark orange beer wth a fine white head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel and so is the flavor, but the body is thin. I had expected much more from this one.

Malty aroma with a bit peppery hops. Deep red golden, thick creamy head. Malt base, some burned colormalts and slight hop flowers. Full mouthfeel, a bit sticky aftertaste.

Amber colour. Medium head. Malty aroma. Light bodied, somewhat roasty flavour but most of all; sweet, too sweet.

Copper lager with a crisp, firm maltiness. It’s simple, clean, but a bit light. So all told, a very consistent beer but not an exciting one.
